The Most Outdated Outfits Megan Fox Has Ever Worn
Megan Fox: cat-eye-shaped blue eyes, luscious full lips, a long black mane, and an unmistakable sense of glizorous fashion. But as she's undergone an incredible style evolution and leaned more towards edgy and boundary-pushing looks, the "Transformers" star has sometimes failed to hit the mark. Fox's most significant style transformations seem to have come through the influence of on-again off-again partner Machine Gun Kelly, since she has been willing to experiment more with fashion since meeting the musician in 2021.
Since Fox and Kelly became a pair, the actor has showed off a notable and spotlight-stealing change both in her appearance (including her haircuts, which went from blue to bangs and everything in between) and her overall outfit choices. Since she started making headlines with her fashion, she has given us one of the most iconic celebrity naked dress moments, and let's not forget the legendary sparkling blue bodysuit (yes, that one!). However, we can't forget those times when Fox has showed up looking less than fashion forward in 'fits that were a little dated.
Peep-toe boots and oversized leather jacket?
Biker jackets were trendy in 2023, but the moment was fleeting. And yet, Megan Fox was spotted wearing an oversized leather biker jacket at Coachella on April 12, 2024. Paired with ultra-short shorts, a straw hat, and peep-toe mid-thigh-high suede boots, the mismatched look was certainly a blast from the past. To her credit, she still looked incredibly sexy, which is probably why she was confident enough to put this outdated ensemble together.
The leather spiked corset worn 14 years too late
Pink hair, leather leggings, and a leather-spiked corset were Megan Fox's go-to options for her appearance at a Las Vegas party on February 9, 2024. Her rather gothic corset made an impression. Sadly, she was 14 years late in wearing it since the trend of the spiked corsets was last making the rounds following The Blonds' vampire-esque fashion show in 2010. Though she may have been trying to pull off the gliz ghoul aesthetic, this look was just too late to the party.
The trucker jacket is over (for now)
Hot pants aren't going anywhere in 2024, and with stunning legs like hers, who better to celebrate the hot-pant trend than Megan Fox? Her November 2023 appearance in New York, although on par with the hot pants, was ruined with the co-ord choice of a trucker jacket and a trenchcoat on top. Casual trucker jackets were outdated by fall 2023, but Fox must have missed the memo.
The antiquated mesh and frills combo
During the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2023 Issue Release Party in Florida, Megan Fox appeared with a brown form-fitting mesh see-through dress. Although we love seeing the actor's almost-naked looks, this outfit seemed as though it was pulled from her grandmother's drawers. The frills along the plunging neckline made the dress look antiquated, like more of a nightgown than a gown.
Rhinestones and sparkles from the '00s
A-listers like Beyonce and Dua Lipa have paved the way for head-to-toe rhinestone and crystal-encrusted dresses. But Megan Fox's partially-blinged dress worn to the 2023 Grammy Awards fell a little flat. Yes, it perfectly complemented her contours. Yes, the white color was a stark contrast with her long black hair. And yes, the push-up top was iconic. But the rhinestone see-through corset was a no from us for being neither here nor there. This Disney Princess dress may have trended in the early aughts, but it's not it in the 2020s.
