The star showed off her stunning hair color at the 2024 Coachella festival, where she admitted to People that her natural locks were in reality much shorter. "I actually have a blue bob right now," Fox told the outlet. "We added the extensions in to give it more Coachella energy. I think I bleached it, and I destroyed it. So I might as well run through all the colors before I go brown." While blue hair isn't everyone's cup of tea, there's no denying that it perfectly suits the vibe of the star-studded festival.

For Behind The Chair, celebrity hairstylist Jacob Schwartz revealed just how he achieved the look on the actor.
"It's a long process but totally worth it! When you take your time you will get the result you want," Schwartz admitted. "I safely removed the black out of her hair with thinly sliced foils all over. My assistant ... checked the foils every five minutes — it took nine hours!" The hairstylist also revealed that he had warned Fox about the roots, which would need regular touch-ups. "Remember, hair changes are pretty permanent. I told Megan she would be coming in every five to six weeks for a root and gloss refresh."

"Megan was ready for a bold change, and now seemed like the perfect time, especially since red shades are on trend for the fall."
The star seemed to have adored the hair color, as she stuck to it until the end of the year. Of course, for some, that might not seem like a long time, but if there's one thing we've learned about Fox in recent years, it's that she adores switching her hair up and experimenting with her look.

On her Instagram stories, Fox shared a couple of selfies that showcased her cool-toned blond hair with slightly darker roots that were giving her an ombré-like effect.
Apart from the hair color, the star was also rocking a stunning sleek lob and wispy '90s bangs. While it is unclear whether this look was just a wig or the star's real hair — especially since the selfies seem to have been taken in a trailer on set — it certainly is a hairstyle the Hollywood actor can pull off with ease.
